Visit by future mining engineers from the Linares Higher Polytechnic School

11 de December de 2025

Today, 11 December, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Mining Technology Engineering Degree programme at the Linares Higher Polytechnic School (University of Jaén) to one of our mines.

During the day, the students were able to see first-hand our selective mining process and dolomite extraction work, as well as the operating procedures we apply to ensure efficient, safe and responsible mining.

Afterwards, we took a tour of our treatment plant, where each phase of the process was explained, along with the rigorous quality controls that ensure the homogeneity and purity of our final products.

In addition, the students were able to visit our photovoltaic park, a key infrastructure within our energy efficiency and sustainability strategy.

At Triturados Puerto Blanco, we are committed to fostering links between the mining industry and new generations of professionals, promoting the exchange of practical experiences and contributing to the academic and professional development of young talent.

We would like to thank the University of Jaén and the Linares Higher Polytechnic School for their interest in our activity. We look forward to seeing you again!
