On December 12, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students of the Degree in Mining Technologies and Energy Resources Engineering of the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Linares (University of Jaén). Throughout the day, the students were taken on a guided tour of the mining operation, where they were explained the selective mining approach applied in dolomite extraction and the operating procedures that ensure efficient and safe mining. Later, they visited the treatment plant, where they were able to observe the different stages of classification, milling and quality control that guarantee the homogeneity and purity of our final product.
To conclude the visit, the students learned about the progress of our photovoltaic park, a key facility in our energy efficiency and sustainability strategy.
At Triturados Puerto Blanco, we are committed to training and bringing the mining industry closer to the new generations, promoting practical knowledge and the exchange of experiences with future professionals in the sector.
