Triturados Puerto Blanco pursues within its integrated quality objectives the environmental integration, protection and conservation of all the environmental values of its surroundings and the mining operation with environmental sustainability criteria.<\/p>\n

To this end, it has not only articulated the Quality Management System, but it also carries out research and updating of all its facilities, making possible the real implementation of environmentally friendly techniques and innovating mining techniques to achieve its quality objectives.<\/p>\n

The company has recently made an investment effort to produce with the most advanced technology both from the mining point of view and to achieve the most environmentally friendly environmental objectives. The facilities of Triturados Puerto Blanco, S.L. integrate advanced energy efficiency and effectiveness mechanisms that reinforce our commitment to environmental sustainability. Among these, the energy cogeneration system, which uses the heat generated by the generators to dry the material stored in the silos, optimizing resources and reducing energy consumption, stands out. <\/p>\n

This cogeneration system has recently been hybridized with the installation of a photovoltaic park, designed for both self-consumption and the sale of surplus energy.
